The Dallas Cowboys Draft Day 5K is a family-friendly event taking place during NFL Draft Weekend at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Designed to celebrate the NFL Draft weekend and support the Cowboys, the event features a fun 5K run starting at the Avenue of Champions and finishing at The Star. Participants can also enjoy a Kids Run and a Toddler Dash, ensuring activities for fans of all ages. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual run option allows Dallas Cowboys fans from all over to participate. In addition to the races, the event includes NFL Draft Party activities, making it a comprehensive celebration of the Cowboys and the NFL Draft.
Work Scope:
Manage the event overall marketing plan and event registration website
Coordinate volunteer support to staff the event
Order bib numbers, t-shirts, medals based on client’s needs, as well as hire timing company, order awards for division winners, finish line food, and on-course water beverages
Ordering signage and branding associated with the race, including functional race signs for the start and finish lines, directional signs, and mile markers (as approved by the client)
