2022 – Race Registration & Volunteers Lead
One of the most anticipated NFL fans races of the year - the Saints Kickoff Run! This 5K race always falls on the NFL Season Opener week and it starts in Champions Square and finishes on the 50-yard line of the Caesars Superdome. A post-race party with live entertainment and a beer garden takes place after the race in Champions Square. All runners receive an official “Saints 5K” participant shirt, finishers medal, runner bib and 2 complimentary beer drinks. Virtual 5K race is also available for Saints fans who can’t make it in person.
Work Scope:
Work closely with the client to meet attendance targets and jointly develop a marketing strategy to increase runners participation year over year.
Oversee all athlete-related elements, generate production timelines, manage budget, athlete registration, run of shows, announcer scripts, event and sponsor signage, live entertainment, sponsorship activations, and post-event reporting and reconciliation.
