The Carlsbad 5000, often referred to as the "World’s Fastest 5K," is an annual road race held in Carlsbad, California. It’s one of the most iconic and competitive 5K races in the world, known for attracting elite runners as well as recreational participants. In addition to the main race, the Carlsbad 5000 also features a festive, community-oriented atmosphere with post-race celebrations, including live music, food, and beverages, creating a fun and engaging environment for runners and spectators alike.
Work Scope:
Collaborate closely with the client to coordinate orders for event signage, sponsorship banners, awards, and finish line food and beverages.
Primarily assist with the operational efforts throughout race weekend.
Oversee packet pick-up and registration areas the day before the race to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
