The Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon and 5K is an annual race held in San Diego, California, organized to promote healthy living and wellness, which aligns with Kaiser Permanente’s mission to inspire communities to “thrive.” This event is a combination of a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles), designed for both competitive runners and those looking to participate in a fun, health-focused event
Work Scope:
Manage the event registration website, volunteer registration, and fundraising initiatives through RunSignUp (CRM).
Partner with the race beneficiary, Make-A-Wish® San Diego, to develop effective fundraising strategies, including peer-to-peer fundraising via the registration platform.
Coordinate the ordering of t-shirts, medals, event signage, and promotional items in compliance with Kaiser Permanente’s branding guidelines.
Collaborate with local partners and exhibitors on sponsor activations, ensuring that all deliverables meet their standards and contractual agreements.
