The Ride Santa Barbara 100 is an annual cycling event that offers riders a chance to experience some of the most scenic and challenging routes in Santa Barbara, California. Known as a century ride, which covers 100 miles, it attracts cyclists of various skill levels from around the country, offering multiple course options to suit different abilities and fitness levels. After completing the ride, participants are invited to enjoy the post-event festivities, which include food, drinks, and entertainment, providing a relaxing and celebratory atmosphere.
Work Scope:
Manage the entire venue setup, including packet pick-up, registration, volunteer check-in, beer garden, and vendor village, ensuring all areas are visually appealing and well-organized.
Oversee all athlete-related aspects, including generating production timelines, managing the budget, handling athlete registration, creating run-of-show schedules, drafting announcer scripts, coordinating event and sponsor signage, organizing live entertainment, executing sponsorship activations, and completing post-event reporting and reconciliation.
